The Four-Armed Beast

A life-sized, four-armed amalgamation at the center of Gallery B. Rendered in stone — or presented as such. Carved with such precision it appears capable of movement.

Gallery B has a jungle motif. The beast is its centerpiece.

Identification

Museum placard: "Thul, Cathul — Amazonian Legend"

Physical Anomaly

Broken plaster at the left heel — as if something snapped off or the figure shifted position. The damage is localized and inconsistent with normal wear.

Sanity Effect

Mordecai triggered a Sanity roll on entering. −1 Sanity. Jump scare. The statue appeared, for a moment, to be alive.

Significance

The dried blood in Gallery A is clustered at the door leading here. Whether the beast is a sculpture, a preserved entity, or something else is unknown. Its connection to R. Pickman's work — and to the disappearances of Amy Langon and Devon Walker — is unconfirmed.

Mythos Flag
Four-armed humanoid beast, realistic enough to trigger a sanity response. Placard calls it "Amazonian" but that framing may be a cover. Broken plaster at the heel suggests movement. This is not conventional art.
